Common questions

How do I get started?

Install GMerge from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with Google (name and email only). After that, Connect Gmail from a campaign or the extension popup, then use “GMerge Mail Merge” in your inbox to create a campaign.

Where do emails send from?

Through your own Gmail account via the Gmail API—not a shared GMerge mailbox.

How do merge tags work?

Click a column name to drop {{Column}} into the subject or body at the cursor. Backspace removes the whole tag. Any column header works, including headers with spaces. Preview shows the first recipient.

The extension says Not connected

Sign in at www.gmerge.co, then Connect Gmail if you have not yet. Confirm the popup API URL is https://www.gmerge.co and click Refresh. Reload the extension after updates.

How do I manage billing?

Open the Dashboard → Billing, or visit /dashboard/billing while signed in.

How do I disconnect or delete my data?

Sign out from GMerge, revoke access in your Google Account security settings, and uninstall the extension. Email us to request account/data deletion.
